More areas added to Russia’s TIR ban

The creeping extension of the Russian TIR ban is continuing, with the restrictions also being applied to the Privolzhsky Customs Directorate, the International Road Transport Union reported on 2 October. The IRU said that the move would particularly affect the Bashkortostan, Nizhegorodskaya, Orenburg, Perm, Samara, Saratov, Tatarstan, Ulyanovsk and Privolzhskaya areas.
