Scientific footwear firm FitFlop has signed a new partnership deal with e-fulfilment provider and existing Port of Tyne customer Spark Response, based in Gateshead. FitFlop has been a huge commercial success and the port will provide overspill warehousing and distribution to Spark Response for up to 2,500 pallets at Follingsby Park in Gateshead.

Lufthansa Cargo has added twice-weekly Boeing 777 freighter services between Frankfurt and Chengdu China. Chengdu is the carrier’s fifth freighter destination in China and joins Shanghai, Beijing, Guangzhou and Hong Kong.
