German-based rail operator TX Logistik - part of the Italian-owned Mercitalia Group - is expanding its domestic intermodal services in Sweden. It is adding add a further38-unit block train between Trelleborg and Eskilstuna, around 100 kilometers west of Stockholm, which will be operated four times a week as a company train for Austrian full truckload specialist Lkw Walter. A ferry connection operates between Trelleborg and Rostock and Travemünde in Germany.
