Speculation is rising that a deal on the Northern Ireland Protocol could soon be struck, reports the BBC. It says that Prime Minister Rishi Sunak is meeting Northern Ireland's political parties with some sources suggesting that a deal could be reached as early as next week on post-Brexit trading arrangements. Mr Sunak is meeting party leaders in Belfast before travelling to meet EU leaders in Germany.
