Maersk has returned its MECL service between the Middle East, India and US East Coast to the Suez Canal, following successful transits by its Maersk Sebarok and Maersk Denver in mid-January. The carrier said it would continue to monitor the security situation in the Middle East region very closely, and any alteration would remain dependent on the ongoing stability in the Red Sea.
