Back to the future for Europa

[ January 31, 2024   //   ]

On the fourth anniversary of Britain’s departure from the European Union, Europa Road says it has returned to offering guaranteed pre-Brexit delivery times across Europe. It attributes this to its investment in its Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) Europa Flow product which it says was first to offer businesses a customs solution to post Brexit transit delays. Europa has also introduced a money back guarantee on all its UK and Ireland exports to Europe.

Since the launch of the service, the company has delivered 300,000 consignments, with 50 per cent of all its UK groupage exports now using DDP.

Europa is currently running to Hungary in 4.1 days, Italy in 3.9 days, Denmark in 3.5 days and Germany in 3.1 days.

Branch and sales director at Europa Worldwide Group, Adrian Redmile, commented: ““We’re only able to provide these much-reduced shipment times because of our investment in both Europa Flow and our operations, as well as using the best network in Europe. This combination means we have the volume of consignments needed to offer daily departures to most European countries.”
