Baxter Freight in talent search

[ December 8, 2017   //   ]

Nottingham-based Baxter Freight has launched a recruitment drive for 14 new sales account managers.

The multi-modal logistics company, which currently employs almost 60 people, plans to increase its turnover from £13m to £18m in 2018.

Baxter Freight, based in Lenton, hopes to keep talent in the city by developing people and giving them the opportunity to rise through the ranks – an ethos the business has followed since it was set up in 2014.

Chairman and founder, Ian Baxter, says: “All we are looking for in people is intelligence, commitment, character and some basic experience of sales or the freight industry. We recruit on that basis alone and I’m proud to say many of the individuals we employed when the business started are still with us today. It has been great to see them develop into valuable business people.”

He describes Baxter Freight as “a fun, at times challenging, but great place to work.”
