Nottingham-based Baxter Freight says its workforce has reached 100 people for the first time. The business saw a net increase of 30 people this year.

The company expects to increase its account management team from 30 to 75 over the next 12 months and predicts it will reach 150 people by December 2022.

The company also promoted a record seven employees in 2021, with six new managers across the business and a newly promoted director. The business also became operational around the clock, with teams working to manage both the customs clearance and freight process throughout the night.

It also achieved a 50-50 split between men and women.
