Belgian connection for Scots shipping agent

Scottish independent multi-modal logistics provider and liner agent KC Group Shipping has opened a new office in Antwerp, Belgium. The Belgian port is an important hub for KC Shipping` global logistics solutions, and will strengthen KC`s commercial presence in the Benelux market.

Four new team members have been recruited to manage the office in Kappellen.

Director of KC Shipping Europe, Luc Dumon, said:“The KC brand has been active within this market for several years; establishing KC Antwerp further demonstrates our commitment to expansion within the Benelux. We currently partner a significant client base already benefiting from our portfolio, our increased footprint in Belgium allows our local team to successfully manage the increased demand for our specialist services.

KC Group commercial director, David Milne, added: “We’ve built a solid base here in Antwerp where we are ideally placed at the gateway to Europe. The location suits both our European short sea and international deep sea shipments. The new office is a sign of the demand for a truly international logistics provider with a strong track record.”
