Big Row aims for big cheque for floating clinic

Fruit and veg at Spitalfields market in London’s East End will be replace on the evening of 11 September by 2,000 people striving to row 1 million metres in The Big Row (www.TheBigRow.org ) – all in aid of the Chauncy Maples Malawi Trust which is renovating a Lake Malawi steamer as a floating clinic.

The Chauncy Maples Malawi Trust and main sponsor, freight insurer Thomas Miller an international provider of insurance, professional and investment services, have invited City firms to enter teams of between 10 and 20 to take part. The event aims to raise the last £1,000,000 to complete the renovation.
