Biggest over bulk shipment for Liverpool
[ February 10, 2026 // Chris Lewis ]The Port of Liverpool has received its largest ever agribulk shipment from ADM in January. The shipment included maize, high protein soya, soya hull pellets and corn gluten, all ingredients in feed and food supply chains.
The 229m long vessel, arriving from New Orleans, carried over 67,000 tonnes.
Managing director, ADM Agriculture and ADM UK Country Manager, Jonathan Lane, said: “This shipment represents an important milestone for ADM and underscores the strength of our global supply chains. Our partnership with Peel Ports and the Port of Liverpool is integral to our operations and central to our commitment as a dependable supplier of high-quality feedstuffs to the UK Animal Feed Industry.”
Group strategic accounts director at Peel Ports Group, Tom Harrison, said: “Welcoming ADM’s largest ever shipment to the Port of Liverpool underlines the capability of the port and our teams to handle increasingly large and complex bulk cargoes.
