Bilbao joins tech platform

Bilbao Port Authority has joined the Waterborne Technology Platform. The grouping, which includes classification societies, shipbuilders, shipowners, maritime equipment manufacturers, infrastructure and service providers, universities, research institutes and EU Institutions, aims to create a continuous dialogue between stakeholders in the sector for reaseach and development. It also seeks to develop a common medium- and long-term vision and a Strategic Research Agenda to mobilise and allocate financial resources, whether private, regional, national or EU sources to develop clean, competitive and safe waterborne transport.
