Black Country box firm bound for Palace

Walsall sales and conversions firm Lion Containers has been invited to apprenticeship event at St. James Palace, London on 27 April in the presence of the Duke of York.

The company is part of Ladder for the Black Country, where businesses are encouraged to take on young people and invest in their future. The event is being held to celebrate the success of the Ladder for Staffordshire, Ladder for the Black Country and Ladder for Shropshire initiatives and will be attended by employers and apprentices. Lion Containers has been running a successful apprenticeship scheme since 2013, and all apprentices so far have gone on to be offered full time contracts with the firm.
