Bleckmann takes Logistics UK International title

Freight forwarding and logistics company Bleckmann won the International Logistics Business of the Year title at Logistics UK’s annual awards in London on 7 December.

There were also awards for the Metropolitan Police Commercial Vehicle Unit (Public Services Operator of the Year), Wise  (Most Innovative Company of the Year), Robert Wynn & Sons (Water Business of the Year), John Lewis Partnership (Decarbonisation Champion), Volvo Trucks ( Logistics Technology Provider), Royal Mail (Van Business of the Year), Menzies Distribution and TIP Group (Logistics Partner of the Year), AIPUT – Airport Industrial Property Unit Trust (Air Business of the Year),  – Diversity and Inclusion Champion of the Year – Brigade Electronics, Tesco (Rail Business of the Year, Reflex Vehicle Hire (People Champion), Vision Logistics (Last Mile Delivery Business of the Year, Dawsongroup (Most Innovative Product), Jamie Sands of Welch’s Transport (Rising Star of the Year), Tony Prescott, GTS (Logistics Leader of the Year) and Collett & Sons (Road Transport Operator of the Year)

The awards – sponsored by Visku – celebrate companies and individuals that have made a significant contribution to the logistics and supply industry in the past year. Shortlisted entrants included representatives of the road, rail, sea and air industries including operators.
