BluJay platform offers easier customs compliance

Supply chain software and services specialist BluJay Solutions has launched an Augmented Global Trade (AGT) software as a service platform to enhance and automate customs and compliance requirements for international trade. The company says that it improves efficiency and reduces risk for logistics service providers, carriers, and shippers managing complex customs declarations or who need to assert control over a network of brokers and freight forwarders.

It includes an “actionable dashboard” giving visibility of shipments’ customs and compliance  with colour-coded alerts to spot potential issues before they occur and take action.

There is also a smart classification tool offering three automation strategies: HS quick classification, classification by rules, or classification by key words.

There is also a multi-country electronic customs declaration solution with a self-updating compliance engine and coverage for more than 20 countries.
