Bollore mulls Africa sale

The Bolloré group is considering selling its port and rail activities in Africa with potential buyers including CMA CGM and Maersk, according to reports in the French press. According to the reports, Morgan Stanley bank has been asked to discreetly sound out potential buyers. Bolloré’s Africa Logistics arm has operations in over 20 countries and runs 16 port concessions, warehouses and road and rail hubs, it had a a turnover of €2.1 billion euros and employs more than 20,000 people.
