Boyer takes Woman in Transport award

MD of road freight specialist France Line International Transport, Marie Boyer won the Woman in Transportation category at the Network of Aspiring Women Awards. 2011 which took place last week.

She was presented with the award at a ceremony in Birmingham on 30 September by the network’s founder, Jo Cameron, and by former winner Ruth Waring, MD of Labyrinth Logistics Consulting.

Fellow judge rally driver Penny Mallory, praised Marie’s “immense amount of passion and enthusiasm, keeping her energy up during challenging times. What we liked about her was the way she seems to bulldoze her way through everything”.

She is credited with transforming France Line into a financially stable company, with a strong and varied customer base, through streamlining all the areas of the business, focusing on customer service, training and engaging her team to meet defined objectives.
