BRI moves into the BRICs

[ October 11, 2011   //   ]

Bellville Rodair International (BRI) has opened a Brazil office in Porto Alegre, in Rio Grande Do Sul state. BRI chairman Terry Walpole said the new office was evidence of the forwarder’s support for its existing client base in the country. He said “It’s also an acknowledgment of Brazil’s role in the world economy.” Brazil is one of the ‘BRICs’ of fast-growing emerging economies (Brazil, Russia, India and China.)

Walpole added:  It was just the next obvious step in our expansion plan and opens up so many opportunities for us throughout the Americas for the import and export of cargo by air or by sea.”
