Brittany to resume full services

[ March 14, 2022   //   ]

Brittany Ferries is planning to operate a full complement of ships and this summer, for the first time since the Covid outbreak.

The operator’s first LNG powered vessel, the Salamanca, will sail for the first time with passengers from Portsmouth to Bilbao on 27 March. As well as connecting the UK with Spain, she will run a weekly rotation between Portsmouth and Cherbourg.

The Bretagne will return to service after nearly 18 months on Portsmouth – St Malo, beginning 26 March 2022.

The Pont-Aven and Armorique return to the seasonal Plymouth routes after a winter hiatus, with services to Santander and Roscoff.

Barfleur was laid up for almost two years during the Covid crisis and, after serving freight on Portsmouth-Caen, returns to her ‘home’ Cherbourg/Poole route on 4 April.

Pont-Aven, will operate two round-trips a week for passengers as well as freight on the Roscoff/Cork route.
