Broekman brings forward Venlo opening for Brexit

Broekman Logistics has opened its new Logistic Campus at Venlo to take the pressure off its warehousing in the port of Rotterdam in anticipation of Brexit. Director of business development, Ron Kuijpers, said that the move would free up space for 10,000 pallets in the Dutch port.

Broekman has also strengthened is customs and trade compliance team to cope with rising demand for Brexit related services.

The official opening of the 64,000sq m Logistic Campus in Venlo is scheduled for 7 May. Broekman says it is the first combined ADR/non-ADR storage in Venlo, with direct connections to rail and canal.
