Cargo-partner acquires in Australia

Two years after the opening of its office in Melbourne in July 2019, Austrian forwarder Cargo-partner has acquired local logistics company Associated Customs & Forwarding (ACF). The move adds locations in Sydney and Brisbane and increases the Australian team to 35. ACF is a global, IATA-accredited service provider for air and sea freight, customs brokerage and contract logistics, operating 3,000sq m of warehouse space in Sydney, including a bonded site with in-house customs clearance as well as a quarantine warehouse. Both companies are already using the logistics platform CargoWise, designed by the Australia-based logistics software developer WiseTech Global. Cargo-partner has begun its staged roll-out of CargoWise across Asia, Oceania, Europe and the US, with completion expected by March 2023.
