CargoBeamer launches Germany-Milan route

Intermodal carrier CargoBeamer has launched a rail service between Stuttgart and Milan. The company specialises in the rail transport of non-craneable semi-trailers, will initially operate four weekly roundtrips, increasing to five in the medium term. Trains will run between the DUSS Terminal in Kornwestheim near Stuttgart and the Terminal Malpensa Intermodale in the north-west of the Greater Milan area. The service succeeds a connection between Stuttgart-Kornwestheim and Domodossola.
