CargoLogic shows off its horse sense

CargoLogicAir (CLA) says that two recent Boeing 747 freighter flights delivering racehorses from the US to the UK and Ireland have demonstrated its expertise in moving live animals.

The flights at the end of October from Atlanta to Stansted and from Chicago to Shannon in the Republic of Ireland followed CargoLogicAir being awarded a US Department of Agriculture (USDA) licence.

The flight to London carried two high value warmblood mares for its customer, Horse Americafor the Tattersalls’ Newmarket Sales of thoroughbred bloodstock in December.

Six days later, the second CargoLogicAir flight from Chicago moved 80 racehorses on behalf of livestock air charter specialists Intradco Global.
