Cargolux deal is off – again

[ December 9, 2015   //   ]

All-cargo airline Cargolux said on 9 December that talks on a new collective work agreement (CWA) with the LCGB pilots’ union had been “cut short” unexpectedly . The union had allegedly declared that they considered the negotiations had failed as management was not prepared to accept their demands.
Cargolux said that agreements had been reached with unions, including ground handlers.
Earlier, on 1 December, Cargolux hailed a major breakthrough in its long-running negotiations with trade unions and that agreement had been reached in principle with both unions.
