Cargolux wins healthcare cert
[ January 29, 2014 // Chris ]Cargolux says it has become the first airline in the world to gain the healthcare industry’s Good Distribution Practice (GDP) certification. It gained its status from Bureau Veritas Certification Germany. Cargolux uses the LuxairCARGO Pharma & Healthcare Center, a purpose-built temperature-controlled pharmaceutical storage facility at its Luxembourg hub, the world’s first fully GDP certified airfreight platform. The GDP certification also recognizes Cargolux’s fleet of Boeing 747 freighters with four independently-controlled temperature zones and its qualified team of cool chain experts.
