Christmas comes early for Stena customer

Hannon Transport driver Patrick van der Vijer got an unexpected early Christmas gift when he was presented with a bottle of champagne and free car crossing by Stena Line’s onboard services receptionist Rob Owen and onboard services manager Sharon Kelly on 21 December. It was to work the 250,000th freight unit on the route, which had a record year in 2018.

RECORD BREAKER…Driver Patrick van der Vijer from Hannon had the honour of transporting Stena Line’s 250 000 freight unit of 2018 on its Dublin – Holyhead route during the Stena Adventurer’s 08.10hrs sailing from Dublin today. To celebrate the record-breaking achievement for the Irish Sea’s leading ferry company, Patrick was presented with a bottle of champagne and free car + 2 crossing on the route by Stena Line’s Onboard Services Receptionist Rob Owen and Onboard Services Manager Sharon Kelly.
