CILT weighs into container debate

The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport’s Ports, Maritime & Waterways Forum will hold the first of a series of seminars on the new IMO container weighing regulations in London on Wednesday, 3 February.
The first seminar, titled; Container Weighing: a Legal Obligation – Find out what you need to know will highlight the issues and provide an insight into what your company should be doing. It will also give you the opportunity to discuss the topic with other supply chain professionals.
Keynote speakers include Matthew Gore, senior associate at international law firm, Holman Fenwick Willan, which will host the event at its offices at 65 Crutched Friars, EC3N 2AE.
Other speakers are Brian Sullivan (TT Club), John Corr (Sound Moves forwarding), Jamie Frater, (Tilbury port) and (Mark Rowbotham Portcullis), who will provide a Union Customs Code update.
