City Link adds new service option

City Link has completed its portfolio of new international products with the launch of a new international tracked packet service.

Packet Worldwide complements City Link’s international parcel services and its untracked packet service, Citypack Worldwide, which was launched in the summer. It offers a similar delivery schedule to Citypack Worldwide: 3-5 working days within the EU; 3-7 working days to the rest of Europe and 5-10 working days to the rest of the world. The new tracked service is available to over 200 countries.

A new e-booking system allows customers to book domestic and international services at the same time. High-volume users who can bulk upload multiple collection requests.

The express operator’s acquisition by Better Capital in April this year the company has led to investment in new products, services and equipment.

City Link sales and marketing director, Tim Brown, commented: “Packet Worldwide is the last piece of the puzzle in terms of rounding off our international product offering. Alongside our Road and Air Express services for parcels and pallets and our import / export Freight Services bureau we can now offer tracked and untracked small packet services through our network of global postal authority suppliers.”
