CKYHE to reorganise routes

[ March 16, 2016   //   ]

The CKYHE container shipping alliance – COSCON, “K”Line, Yang Ming, Hanjin and Evergreen Line – is reorganising its Asia-North Europe and Asia-Mediterranean services. There will be five Asia-North Europe services – four of which will call at Felixstowe – and four Asia-Mediterranean services.

CKYHE Alliance says the changes will provide stable transit times and offeri more flexible port-pair options.

There has recently been considerable speculation over the future of CKYHE, following reports that rival operator CMA CGM was attempting to entice two of its members, COSCON and Evergreen into a new CCEO ‘super-alliance’ with OOCL.
