Consider alternative to sky high postage prices, says SEKO

[ July 2, 2020   //   ]

International postal charges into the US could soar by as much as 150% with the implementation of an agreement with the Universal Postal Union (UPU) which allows the country to set its own rates, according to e-commerce specialist SEKO Logistics.

However, it adds, there could be much more to come as the other 191 UPU member countries will be able to set their own rates for foreign parcel services too from the start of 2021.

Chief growth officer Brian Bourke says that sellers should take the opportunity to modernize and speed up delivery and to take advantage of the alternatives provided by companies like SEKO.
