CSG buys Dundalk broker Beagans
[ February 16, 2026 // Chris Lewis ]Customs Support Group (CSG) has acquired family-run, AEO-certified Dundalk broker Beagans Ltd.
It brings CSG’s UK and Irish workforce to around 250 experts, boosting cross-border support and operational capacity.
Founded in 1953 and now in its third generation of family ownership, Beagans Limited is expert in excise duty management and the food and agriculture sectors, particularly in handling exports and imports through Dublin Port.
CSG chief executive, John Wegman, said the acquisition would consolidate the firm’s position across the island of Ireland, increasing capacity to manage complex customs cases and broadening capabilities in areas such as deep sea trade and excise goods.
He added: “By combining Beagans’ deep market expertise with our European network, we can offer clients even more comprehensive solutions, greater capacity, and a streamlined UK–Ireland goods flow.”
CSG entered the Irish market in 2021 when it bought Bell Transport and Logistics
Both CSG and Beagans will continue to operate from their existing offices.
