Dachser takes over in Finland

German forwarding and logistics company Dachser has  acquired all the shares in its Finnish joint venture, Dachser Finland. Dachser founded the joint venture in Finland at the end of 2013 together with the ACE Logistics Group with both partners previously holding 50% of the shares. Dachser has now acquired all the shares in the joint venture and is integrating Dachser Finland into its Nordic overland organization under managing director Nordic European Logistics, Peter Hut.

Tallinn, Estonia-based ACE will remain a close partner of Dachser in the European overland transport network for the Baltic States and Ukraine.

Dachser employs around 1,800 people in Finland, Sweden, Denmark, and Norway and acquired the Swedish food logistics company Frigoscandia at the beginning of 2024 and opened new branches in Aalborg, Denmark, and Kristiansand, Norway, as well as larger premises in Jönköping and Landskrona, Sweden. A new site in Tampere, Finland, will join the network in spring 2025.
