[ March 2, 2016   //   ]

Logistics and forwarding operator Delamode – hitherto best known as an East European specialist – has launched new groupage services for Italy and Germany. Customers can ship from the UK to any destination in Italy and Germany using Delamode’ network with daily departures for Germany and twice weekly departures for Italy. Services are available inbound and outbound.

Delamode has operated in the UK and Eastern Europe since 1988, offering European groupage, full and part transportation and intercontinental supply chain solutions. The Group currently employs over 400 dedicated staff and has ten offices across Eastern Europe.

Chairman Stephen Blyth said: “ Germany has been the UK’s largest EU import and export trading partner by value for many years, and Italy continues to see the value of its UK imports increase year-on-year. The decision to establish these new routes reflects existing customer demand and our strategy to strengthen and grow our pan-European network of road transport services.”

He added: £We remain committed to delivering high quality European consolidation solutions that add real value to our customers’ businesses. Supported by first class customer care, the management team is confident that Delamode can create long-term relationships and successful groupage routes between the UK, Italy and Germany, establishing Delamode as the provider of choice.”
