Dentressangle grows in Ireland

French-owned logistics company Norbert Dentressangle has set up a a new subsidiary in Ireland, building on its existing operations in Dublin, Belfast and Co. Kildare. Norbert Dentressangle Logistics Ireland will provide “innovative, high added-value warehousing and distribution solutions” in north and south.

Currently employing 120 people, the new company is expected to create up to 20 additional jobs over the next 12 months.

Norbert Dentressangle already manages operations in Ireland on behalf of major companies including ADM Londis, La Palette Rouge, Mitsubishi and Tesco and has well-established Irish freight forwarding and transport services operations.

Norbert Dentressangle Logistics Ireland’s business development director Mark Boulton said: “This is an excellent time for Norbert Dentressangle to reinforce its commitment to Ireland – the current economy is favourable for new entrants, allowing us to be extremely competitive in the market and deliver exceptional value for our customers. Whilst trading conditions remain tough, we see excellent development potential as the economy returns to growth.”
