DFDS has celebrated its 10,000 sailing in the Mediterranean Türkiye, Europe and North Africa.

The Danish-owned operator has been connecting Türkiye and Europe with a fleet of 19 vessels and more than 1,000 employees since 2018, when it completed its acquisition of local operator UN Ro-Ro which operated freight ferry to Italy France.

DFDS chief executive, Torben Carlsen said: “Türkiye is an important market for DFDS and a key hub for our long-term investments. We are expanding our operations in Türkiye and are continuously exploring new routes and opportunities to enhance our operational capacity and provide strong and reliable support to our Turkish customers and partners.”
