DFDS returns second SeaFrance ship to service

[ February 24, 2016   //   ]

The former SeaFrance Belioz has returned to the Dover-Calais route under the ownership of DFDS, renamed Côte des Flandres. The ship sailed into Dover last night (23 February) at 20.15 after its inaugural voyage from Calais.

Like her sister ship, Côte des Dunes, which came into service on 9 February, she has undergone extensive interior renovations including dedicated facilities for commercial drivers in the Road Kings area, which encompasses around a third of the upper deck. This includes substantial shower facilities, a large restaurant, a lounge and a dedicated outside deck area.

DFDS has increased its daily schedule of sailings between Dover and Calais to up to 30 per day and freight capacity on the route has been increased by 70%.
