DHL appoints Europe forwarding chief

DHL Global Forwarding Europe has appointed Tobias Schmidt as chief executive. He succeeds Thomas George, who has managed the European organization since 2016. Schmidt will report to DHL Global Forwarding freight chief executive Tim Scharwath and will continue to lead the German and Swiss organisation.
