DHL Freight appoints Middle East and Africa chief

DHL Global Forwarding, Freight has appointed Tobias Maier as chief executive for the Middle East and Africa region. He succeeds Amadou Diallo, who will be stepping down after more than eight years. Since joining DHL in 2008, Maier has held several leadership positions, most recently serving as chief finance officer for Middle East and Africa and CEO of Saloodo! digital freight platform for the region.
