DHL supersizes Shenzhen

DHL Express has expanded its Shenzhen Super Gateway with a €177 million investment, its largest investment in mainland China to date and has introduced a widebody Boeing 767 freighter linking Shanghai, Bangkok, Bahrain and Brussels. The expanded Shenzhen Super Gateway at Bao’an International Airport, has tripled processing capacity to approximately 900 tons per day.

The new flight adds up to 50 tonnes of daily capacity with increased uplift for heavier shipments to support the company’s Heavyweight Express offering.
