Dover wins chilled and frozen food status
[ April 30, 2025 // Chris Lewis ]The Port of Dover’s cargo terminal has gained certification to the BRCGS standard for storage and distribution for chilled and frozen food.
It is an internationally recognised benchmark that assures customers and stakeholders of rigorous compliance with food safety and quality management practices.
The Temperature-Controlled Storage and Distribution Centre, at the port’s lo lo terminal plays a critical role in preserving the freshness and quality of perishable goods.
Head of business development at Port of Dover Cargo, Alison Hall, said: “It reflects our unwavering dedication to providing our customers with world-class facilities and services that meet the highest industry standards.
