DP World chief resigns after Epstein links revealed

DP World chairman and chief executive Sultan Ahmed bin Sulayem has left the global ports and logistics company after it was revealed that he appears to have exchanged hundreds of emails with convicted sex offender and financier, Jeffrey Epstein. Essa Kazim will  take over as chairman and Yuvraj Narayan as chief executive, the company said.

DP World operates ports in six continents including Dubai’s Jebel Ali as well as London Gateway and Southampton in the UK. It has also become a major force in logistics and freight forwarding.
