DSV Panalpina has wind in its sails

DSV Panalpina has formed a strategic partnership with wind turbine maker Vestas. The forwarder will execute and manage Vestas’ inbound and outbound general freight and special project transportation. It seeks to reap the advantages of combining DSV Panalpina’s global footprint with 60,000 employees in 90 countries and complete range of services across the entire supply chain, with Vestas’ volume and experience in special project transportation, delivering and installing more than 70,000 wind turbines in 80 countries. Vestas has around 500,000 inbound shipments a year and uses more than 900 vessels every year.
