DX buys same-day specialist HBC Logistics

UK and Ireland delivery company DX has acquired Bedfordshire -based same day specialist, HBC Logistics. The acquisition follows the appointment of Ian Truesdale as DX chief executive 1 July 2025 by DX’s parent company, investment firm HIG Capital. HBC Logistics offers warehousing and fulfilment, palletised freight, same-day courier services and international shipping from its 62,000sq ft base in Biggleswade with additional support centres in Hertfordshire, Cambridge and London. It is a Platinum-rated member of the United Pallet Network and Palletforce.
