Ellerman switches Polish service from Teesport to Hull

Ellerman City Liners, part of Uniserve Group is to swich its iPEX2 UK/Szczecin, Poland service from Teesport to Hull. The latter is now served by its BALTEX service launched earlier this year.

The iPEX2 service will provide two weekly direct sailings from Poland into the UK, with some of the fastest shortsea transit times on the market, says Ellerman. It also offers rapid transshipment to Portugal.

Ellerman adds that Hull is closer to the North of England and the Midlands and the move will shorten road legs and reduce domestic transport costs.

The Poland–UK Express complements Ellerman’s existing weekly Viasea call in Immingham, following the acquisition of the Norwegian shortsea operator in November 2025.
