Europa promotes two IT experts

Europa Worldwide Group has promoted Paul Hinchley from Head of Software Development to Software Development Director and Chris Mitchell from Group Head of IT to IT Director.

With a 30-year career in logistics software development, Paul Hinchley (pictured, left) has led Europa’s development teams for more than a decade and has overseen the continued advancement of software innovations across the business including Europa Flow, which simplifies post-Brexit customs processes.

Since joining Europa six years ago, Chris Mitchell (right) has expand the group’s IT function it from five people to a team of more than 30 and has strengthened cybersecurity and operational resilience, created platforms, and embedded greater security awareness throughout the organisation.

Under his leadership, Europa has recently achieved ISO 27001 certification, providing internationally recognised assurance of its approach to protecting the confidentiality, integrity and availability of information.
