Europa to retire Europa as group celebrates 60 years in business
[ March 4, 2026 // Chris Lewis ]Europa Worldwide Group has marked its 60th anniversary with a new brand identity and is laying out its future strategy.
The company also has a new corporate strapline, ‘Powered by Better’. It says the refresh signals a new era of expansion for the Kent-based firm, which has quadrupled in size over the last 13 years and expanded its Air & Sea freight forwarding and 3PL Warehousing divisions.
Europa was launched in 1972, initially carrying urgent parts for racing cars to Europe. It was acquired by former RH Freight co-owner Andrew Baxter (pictured) in 2013 and has since grown to become the leading mover of groupage between the UK and the EU and one of the largest independent logistics companies in the UK, he said. It has pioneered Delivered Duty Paid services that aim to make exporting to the EU post-Brexit as trouble-free as possible for shippers.
Since acquiring the company, it has been restructured into three separate divisions, turnover has increased to over £s730 million and the group now employs 1,300 people across 30 global sites and operates in 160 countries.
Its air and sea arm has opened offices in China, India and Dubai and is currently setting its sights on expansion in the US, Baxter told FBJ.
The new brand identity retains Europa’s traditional red and white red but has been completely redesigned. It will mean the eventual retirement of the Europa Phoenician goddess image that has become a familiar site to motorway users throughout the country.
The new livery will be introduced when vehicles, including rigids, tractors, box trailers and curtainsiders are replaced as part of the normal cycle.

It will be farewell to a familiar face as Europa rolls out its new corporate identity
