Express route to logistics skills

The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT) has launched an Express Logistics Higher Apprenticeship Level 5 in conjunction with Hull College, the National Apprenticeship Service, Skills for Logistics . Described as the first of its kind, it is designed specifically for express logistics, time-sensitive supply chains, and cross deck operations.

The apprenticeship has been developed in response to employer demand, and is designed to produce the next generation of operations managers. It will also allow organisations to form a progression route for current employees, extending any existing training already in place.
