Fercam signs joint venture deal with Dachser
[ August 23, 2023 // Chris Lewis ]Italian operator Fercam has signed a joint venture deal with Germany’s Dachser. It will detach its Fercam Distribution (groupage) and Fercam Logistics (contract logistics) divisions from Fercam and integrate them into the new company by the end of the year. The two divisions employ 920 people at 43 locations in Italy, and generated some €400 million in revenue in 2022. Fercam Transport, Fercam Air & Ocean, and Fercam Special Services, including all international subsidiaries, r/emain exclusively owned by Fercam and will not become part of the new joint venture. From the beginning of 2024, the new company will report directly to Alexander Tonn, chief operating officer for road logistics at Dachser.
