Ferrymasters sets up shop in Liverpool

[ March 20, 2018   //   ]

P&O Ferrymasters has opened an 800sq m warehouse at the port of Liverpool Port to traffic on P&O Ferries’ Liverpool-Dublin sailings.

The warehouse – which will be open 24 hours a day and comprise eight loading bays for trailer and container operations – will support daily groupage and cross-docking operations, where loads from more than one customer are consolidated.

P&O Ferrymasters’ general manager Ireland, Andy Apsley, said the location would allow all customers to benefit from it portside location, streamline their logistical requirements and ultimately reduce their costs. IT systems such as load and cost optimisation and track and trace visibility will also be available.
