FM Logistic sees good pharma market in Romania

French logistics and transport services provider FM Logistic has opened a €20 million dedicated cold storage warehouse in Bucharest for pharma and healthcare products. The 10,000sq m building is in compliance with the Good Distribution Practices (GDP) and Good Storage Practices (GSP) for pharmaceutical products in the 15 to 25 degrees Celsius, 2 to -8 degrees Celsius, and -25/-15 degrees C ranges.
In the twelve months to 31 March 2018, sales of pharmaceutical drugs in Romania rose 11.8% to €3.15 billion, according to a report by market research firm Cegedim.
Among FM Logistic’s pharmaceutical customers in Romania are Sanofi and Zentiva.
FM Logistic operates five facilities in Romania, including logistics in Timisoara, Bucharest and Dambovita, and two cross-docking hubs in Cluj and Bacau.
